Peter Hall is an associate professor in SFU’s Urban Studies Program and an associate member of the Department of Geography. His research program bridges the disciplines of geography, planning and economics, often combining qualitative and quantitative social research methods, to address three areas related to development at the local, urban and regional scales: I) Port cities, seaports and logistics II) Local labour markets and employment III) Community and local economic development.
