Port trucking regulation is an increasingly important arena of supply chain governance in maritime ports. Arguing that understanding the role of trucking is imperative for understanding ports greater interconnection as node within a wider chain, the authors of this paper argue that port trucking regulation ought to be contextualized as a public policy problem and an imperative process in global shipping.
