Mehrnaz Ashrafi

Dr. Ashrafi is a research fellow with the Centre for Transportation Studies at UBC Sauder School of Business. She holds a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies in maritime ports sustainability (Dalhousie). She is currently overseeing research coordination and knowledge mobilization for UBC’s International Green Shipping Partnership Network.
Dr. Ashrafi has a keen interest in embedding sustainability (economic, environmental, social) strategies into organizations’ business models. She is also passionate about fostering sustainability-based cooperation as a strategic advantage.
